Pretty steep price considering it's only 4 years old and not some low mileage mint 30-40 year old "barn" find. Just my opinion though. RE: Supply and demand? - Stichill - 03-19-2018 One of my buddies just bought a new 2017 Triumph Street Twin for $7300. He was considering a new 2017 CB1100EX but couldn't justify the price difference. I rode his new Street Twin on Sunday afternoon. Felt very solid, surprisingly torquey motor. Was not a big fan of the clutch...friction zone was way out at the end of the lever travel; possibly could have been cured with adjustment. Rather compact riding position for the legs, however, and that's coming from somebody with a 28" inseam. RE: Supply and demand? - the Ferret - 03-19-2018 The Triumph dealer in Dayton, Ohio where my brother bought his bike dropped the Triumph line in January. The other Triumph dealer in Cincinnati is on thin ice financially I have heard. Looks like Columbus or Lexington are going to be the nearest Triumph dealers soon. RE: Supply and demand? - Stichill - 03-19-2018 This guy took a trailer from northern Kentucky to pick up that bike in Milwaukee! This is his first street bike but he has ridden motocross, enduro, and trail for decades so he knows his way around bike maintenance. He was once the state enduro champion of Kentucky.
