40 year old newbie - Bad Rattle - 05-18-2026
Good afternoon everyone,
Just picked up a super clean 13’ CB1100 with 5k miles last weekend. Really happy with the bike so far. Only little issue was a slipping throttle grip from aftermarket heated grips… Fixed the slipping but I’ll be replacing the grips soon.

Welcome to the forum, Bad Rattle. Nice bike to have found. It even has RLETs which makes me wonder about a past association with this forum.
Is it something to do with the camera angle or has something happened to the left rear indicator?

Cormanus, those are not OEM indicators and it looks broken off. Also has non-stock handlebar mount. I guess a riser mount.
RLETs are good.
That is one clean machine!

Must be when I used a photo editor to remove the car in the background…. Also removed the indicator…. It’s most definitely there and they’re not factory.
RLETS… lol, already learned a new term. The handlebar mount looks OE to me. Same mount in multiple Honda press images.

Any chance you can take a better picture of the clamp? Cause it sure doesn’t look like mine, or what shows in parts listings for ‘13 models.
