SOLD: Ikon shocks - Beardo - 12-23-2025 I sold my 2014 CB1100, but took off the suspension bits I had installed last year. Ikon shocks. Price will be $350 plus shipping. Only have about 3,000 miles on them. Made the bike ride night and day better from stock! You can email me at black06883@yahoo.com, call or text me at 412-417-6554 Brian I'm trying to raise some funds for the Multistrada I picked up, so I am motivated to sell this set-up!! I am trying to figure out (again!) how to crop the pictures! RE: Koni shocks & Showa SDBV forks!! - 1973cb750 - 02-01-2026 those forks for the rs? i assume they fit the ex 17? RE: Koni shocks & Showa SDBV forks!! - Beardo - 02-05-2026 My apologies for the late reply. I don't come on to much anymore. Fit the EX, I'm almost positive the RS forks are bigger diameter, so I would say no, to that. But the slot right in on the 2014 triple trees. Twenty minutes and a night & day return for the suspension. RE: Koni shocks & Showa SDBV forks!! - Cormanus - 02-05-2026 The part numbers for EX and RS forks are the same. RE: Koni shocks & Showa SDBV forks!! - Tev62 - 02-05-2026 They are excellent forks. SHOWA's claim is that they smooth out the transition between low speed and high speed damping with the valve internals. I really do rate them and think the front end ride on my 2017 EX is exceptional for a bike without adjustable damping. These used to be a factory upgrade you could buy for many Harleys. The RS forks are 43mm. I just looked over parts fiche again. RE: Koni shocks & Showa SDBV forks!! - 1973cb750 - 02-05-2026 year the rs has bigger brakes and better calipers i been looking at maybe swaping to the rs front end
RE: Koni shocks & Showa SDBV forks!! - Beardo - 02-05-2026 I actually looked at doing the same thing to my 2014 STD. More money than what I'm willing to lay out. I did the easy stuff first. I had started collecting the rearend bits, then the tariffs stopped that. I have a rear RS wheel, cushions and sprocket carrier. I know for a fact that that particular set-up will not slot into the stock steel swingarm. RE: Koni shocks & Showa SDBV forks!! - 1973cb750 - 02-05-2026 what are you gona do with the parts you have beardo? RE: Koni shocks & Showa SDBV forks!! - Beardo - 02-05-2026 Shoot me a PM and we can talk. |
