Staying visible - Cormanus - 06-09-2014 Some tips here. Careful about deploying the final one. http://www.motorcycle.com/top10/top-10-ways-get-noticed-motorcycle.html RE: Staying visible - CB4ME_imp - 06-09-2014 Many if not most strategies have been discussed on this forum, a tribute to the members' knowledge and awareness. RE: Staying visible - Rocky_imp - 06-09-2014 I have several jackets, but mostly wear red jackets and always white helmets and feel pretty safe. I also have a fluorescent vest if I choose to wear a dark jacket. Scanning for potential problems and being aware of your surroundings in traffic has kept me safe so far. The kids on sport bikes can rip through traffic all they want, but I'm generally content to go with the flow getting in and out of the city (to and from) my favourite country roads where I can ride in comfort and relative safety. |
