+1 on Ferret's comment - give us an update on your physical mending and the bike repair.
Hopefully you'll be on the road by mid September and be able to make the ride Powdertoastman planned.

No and no. Last report is they are still waiting on parts. When I was there last week they had missed part of the instrumnet cluster and had to send an amendment to the insurance company so I'm sure they were waiting on the OK for that.
As far as I go.....well.....my rib is SLOWLY getting better, but it still hurts when getting out of bed and my left shoulder is a mess. Sleeping on either side is no picnic because I can't lay on it and when on my right side it tends to hang and starts to KILL while I'm sleeping and then I wake up, so on top of it all I'm not sleeping all that well and my sleep schedule is an absolute wreck.
Fun, fun, fun.
Oh and I can tell the collarbone isn't 100% yet either because I can't lift anything all too heavy yet as I can feel it starting to stress it.

Well done on the pay off.
Be patient on the recovery front. A good physiotherapist may be able to help you strengthen some of the muscles that will have weakened during your recovery.
