Moonshine Lunch Run - emptysea - 02-05-2014 Anyone (especially in Illinois and Indiana) planning on attending The Monshine Lunch Run? April 12, 2014. Moonshine, IL. Lots of bikes, good food, and an excuse to shake the icicles off from this long, cold winter. I'm planning on going, weather permitting. Let me know if you are. Perhaps we can meet for a Moonburger! Details at [url=http://moonshine-run.com]Moonshine Lunch Run RE: Moonshine Lunch Run - emptysea - 03-26-2014 I'll be riding down from Chicago with a few friends...could be a German, American, Japan, and Italian mix of bikes for our ride. Let me know if you're heading to Moonshine this year. RE: Moonshine Lunch Run - Copiche_imp - 04-01-2014 Had a great time at this year's Run. RE: Moonshine Lunch Run - Ole - 01-07-2015 Who is going to the 2015 Moonshine Lunch Run? April 11. I think I can squeeze this in. Google says it is 300 miles from my home. Will prolly just get up early and slab it down there. RE: Moonshine Lunch Run - OldF7Guy_imp - 01-07-2015 Hey, empty sea, I heard about this through a buddy. What is the deal? When does this happen and I would love to ride up for a sandwich. Do you have details on the next run? RE: Moonshine Lunch Run - Ole - 01-07-2015 Everything you need to know about the 2015 Moonshine is right here: http://moonshine-run.com/Moonshine/ RE: Moonshine Lunch Run - emptysea - 01-11-2015 I am planning on going....but a lot depends up on the weather, of course. RE: Moonshine Lunch Run - emptysea - 01-11-2015 Ya know....Chicago and Cincinnati are just about equidistant from The Moonshine Store. Ferret? RE: Moonshine Lunch Run - the Ferret - 01-11-2015 It's been a big deal on the ST Forum for years. Terry Hammond an ST rider from the area, was kinda the starter of this deal. However, I really don't like crowds, and avoid them when I can. I don't do poker runs, go to sporting events, amusement parks, or touristy locations during peak season. I would never go to Daytona, or Sturgis and I only went to the Indy MotoGP because my wife bought me tickets. I won't go Christmas shopping after Thanksgiving, I even go to the grocery store at 7 am or 10 pm to avoid the crowds, and 2000 motorcyclists jammed onto a little road, going into a little building to get food, is just too much for me. I encourage others to enjoy the experience however. RE: Moonshine Lunch Run - rboe - 01-12-2015 The New Years day run to Torilla Flat on the Apache Trail can be fun, but the long ride out and the crowds; meh. Not all that fun any more for me. Add in the cold morning; it was a non-starter this year. But on the surface it does sound like fun. I'd prefer to get some guys together (three to five) and do an alternate thing. |
