What the heck is this? - postoak_imp - 07-26-2018 There is what is putatively a 2014 Deluxe for sale at a dealer down in Florida. But take a look. What do you think this is? It’s obvioulsy NOT a Deluxe, and the description says it is a CB1100A with C-ABS, which it doesn’t have. And would be a ‘13 model. RE: What the heck is this? - postoak_imp - 07-26-2018 Is it a 2014 STD that they've put a red tank on? I asked for the VIN and he gave JH2SC6519EK100363. RE: What the heck is this? - Lord Popgun - 07-26-2018 Cormanus can answer that based on the VIN. But I think you are correct. Its has ‘14 switchgear. Or see his post here for VIN decoding: http://cb1100forum.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=10637&pid=170301#pid170301 The E (before the K)= 2014. And a little farther down in the thread it says the Deluxe is SC658 RE: What the heck is this? - pdedse - 07-26-2018 (07-26-2018, 08:17 AM)postoak_imp Wrote: Is it a 2014 STD that they've put a red tank on? RE: What the heck is this? - Cormanus - 07-26-2018 Well, the VIN is genuine and, for the reasons popgun has given, it's the VIN for a 2014 standard. By the way, popgun, when I checked out your link to refresh my memory, I found a small mistake in the post. So, thanks. RE: What the heck is this? - HansenCB_imp - 07-26-2018 This is clearly a 2014 standard black cb1100 with a red tank. I like the look! |
