Next Generation (4th) - the Ferret - 10-07-2015 You guys have seen this pic of my son B with his first bike. B was 5 when I bought him his first bike. B is now 36, rides daily and we go on at least one trip together each year called the Men's Fall Trip ![]() This year's Mens Fall Trip report [url=http://www.cb1100forum.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=6939]http://www.cb1100forum.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=6939 Anyhow B's son Riley has loved motorcycles since he was born it seems. His favorites are Ducati's and Yamaha's, but he likes my Honda's as well as any motorcycles, and knows that Mark Marquez is World Champion on a Honda. Well last night Riley became the 4th generation of riders in the family, and the youngest at age 3. And, it's a Yamaha lol. (PW 50). Need to pick up some training wheels for it, but if he is anything like my son who was too short for his first bike, he will find a concrete block, climb on the bike from the block, take off and if he gets off anywhere in their yard, he will push it back to the block to get on again. RE: Next Generation (4th) - ss2wheels_imp - 10-07-2015 Very cute Micky, and monster decals already in place RE: Next Generation (4th) - Rocky_imp - 10-07-2015 Cool RE: Next Generation (4th) - Lord Popgun - 10-07-2015 He looks like the Fonz (us old guys know who that is). Whatever happened to the old Honda? RE: Next Generation (4th) - the Ferret - 10-07-2015 popgun, the little Z50 was sold when B outgrew it. I think he was about 13 and his knees were hitting the handlebar lols. I had bought him a 650 Yamaha Twin when he was 12, but when he turned 16 and got his lic he wanted a car instead. So I sold the 650. When he turned 19 I think he decided he wanted to ride after all, so I gave him my 83 Suzuki GS1100 E and I bought a Honda V65 Sabre to ride. RE: Next Generation (4th) - flynrider - 10-07-2015 Riley and B are lucky guys. i grew up in a family of doctors whose primary knowledge of motorcycles came from what they saw in the emergency room. No motorcycles for me until I turned 18 and moved out, though I did manage to sneak the occasional ride on my buddy's Trail 70 while growing up. RE: Next Generation (4th) - ludva12345_imp - 10-07-2015 nice :-) RE: Next Generation (4th) - metallyguitarded_imp - 10-12-2015 There's something very telling from the fact that he's giving the thumbs up to the throttle. Watch out for that kid, Mickey! You've got another racer in the family. RE: Next Generation (4th) - 13cb1100_imp - 11-07-2015 That's a great then vs now pic.... RE: Next Generation (4th) - redbirds_imp - 11-08-2015 Love the pics Micky and the smiling faces. |
