A challenge - Cormanus - 02-16-2016 I just came across this story on the Internet and wondered whether any of you with fancy GPS devices felt up to the challenge of doing this sort of thing on a grander scale, http://www.mymodernmet.com/profiles/blogs/stephen-lund-gps-doodles RE: A challenge - the Ferret - 02-16-2016 Dang that's amazing. I don't even know how to plot a route on a GPS RE: A challenge - Cormanus - 02-16-2016 I think these guys probably used a GPS app that plots where they actually went—you can get one from Navionics and put it on your iPhone. It's free I think. You fire it up when you start out and it tracks your every turn. I'd use it all the time if I could easily find a way to transfer the data to Google Maps. So, someone has to work out a route that will result in the GPS track drawing a CB1100DLX. |
