Silodrome - Chapomis_imp - 06-07-2016 Interesting publication that I haven't seen before, lots of vintage bike info. The CB750 article caught my eye. http://silodrome.com/buying-guide-honda-cb750/ RE: Silodrome - emptysea - 06-07-2016 I've popped on to this site a few times. Really cool stuff. RE: Silodrome - redbirds_imp - 06-07-2016 Fantastic old footage from the "73 F1 race at the Nurburgring on this site. The good old days before pit stops and tire strategy, flat out sprint race like Motogp. In the old film, Jacky Stewart and his team mate Francois Cevert can be seen leading in the blue Ford powered Tyrells. Later that year I attended the race at Watkins Glen, NY. In practice Cevert was killed and Stewart withdrew from the race, never to race again. RE: Silodrome - Chapomis_imp - 06-07-2016 Wow ! I was in Watkins Glen in 73' too. But it wasn't to watch races...... Allman Brothers, Grateful Dead and the Band RE: Silodrome - redbirds_imp - 06-07-2016 (06-07-2016, 11:00 PM)Chapomis_imp Wrote: Wow ! Pintos and assorted old US "land yachts". What a time and I do miss it, 25 and single then. RE: Silodrome - emptysea - 06-08-2016 Yeah..so thanks a bunch for posting this link and causing me to waste an hour of work time!
