CHP Lane-splitting Ride-along - Ulvetanna_imp - 11-08-2016

Very good video, wherein the CHP explains that lane-splitting is legal, impeding a motorcycle is illegal, and the guidelines CHP uses. CHP says 40 mph is about the max speed to split, I figured an indicated 45 mph, so we're on the same page.

Same here. I have split those lanes for the past 15+ years. 45 is about my limit as well.

You guys are way braver than I. It makes me cringe for the biker when I see them lane-splitting but I understand some of the reasoning behind it....Just looks like disaster waiting to happen with all the distracted drivers out there these days.
