I had two of the former, and one of the latter, a 2012 "L2" but still a world-class and iconic machine. It's nice to be able to have that air-cooled Honda in the garage, too, particularly in light of the fact that air-cooling is pretty much out of the picture from this point on for a large-displacement streetbike.

I doubt we will ever see another air-cooled inline four in the USA. So hang on to yours.

The T-120 is one of the most beautiful with classic lines motorcycles ever made. Light and lithe, yet a glorious sound and great power for it's time.

For me the DKW RT 125 from 1930 is missing:

This is the most copied motorcycle of the world. Even early Japanese two-stroke motorcycles are based on the RT 125 (e.g. Yamaha YA-1).
With more than 450,000 units this is the most build motorcycle in Germany. (World wide more than 5 million units)

Classic organic look. That is a lot of units. Looks like the Soviets did a lot with it, but would it have been mass produced during WWII as well?
