Updated Honda NC750X, CB1000R, ADV 150 Now Available In The U.S.

"Honda has just announced that it will be spicing up its motorcycle offerings in the U.S. market by launching updated versions of three of its popular bikes. An updated Honda NC750X, CB1000R, and ADV 150 are all inbound soon."

I really like the new NC750X in blue. Seems like a lot of bike for $8199. Add some hand guards and panniers, and it could be a serious bike for touring.

Agreed. The NC750X in blue would be easy on the eyes. The bike in general is easy on everything.

The 2022 Honda ADV 150 looks like a re-skin of the PCX150, but even more appealing ...

I've been hoping they bring the updated NC750X over so I can buy it for myself, I mean my wife.

Yeah, a good machine made even better.

I like the enhancement on the rear ADV 150 suspension.

Cool, but low-hanging fruit for the U.S. market. Honda could have been a wee bit quicker.

I think it’s a bit aspirational that Honda touts the NC750X as a long-distance tourer. The one I rode in Italy several years ago was anything but. Tortuous seat, terrible wind management, and having the fuel filler under the pillion prevents you from securing gear on the rear seat without a fuss. I think it’s much more adept as a commuter or weekend play bike.

I reckon Honda really means "urban adventurer" with highway usability.

The seat is firm, but not impossible. Even my poor butt enjoyed it more than the stock '14 CB1100 standard.

The 2018 windshield could have been better, but it was still functional.

I actually like the hidden gas cap. In return, I got the "Frunk". Just my personal experience. I rarely tie junk down on the pillion seat.

Seats are poison to one and perfect for another. I find the seat on my NC750X near perfect and far better than the CB1100 stock seat. The only drawback to the under seat tank is the less than ideal range but still adequate when you're averaging 70+ mpg. The addition of a Puig wind screen has cured my major complaint, wind buffeting as the stock screen is less than useless. The fact that the "frunk" means no more tank bags simply means moving a tail bag for fill ups rather than a tank bag. For me it's a near perfect touring bike.

Very true statement!

Yeah, showroom NC750Xs tend to go somewhat quickly in this region. I have seen many around, ironically almost all at gas stations. One can beat down on the NC750X all day and it will take it. If it happens to have a DCT, no driver harm will reach the engine/drivetrain.

RE: Updated Honda motorcycles - the Ferret - 03-05-2021

The updated NC 750X really has a host of new features that make it really appealing. More hp and torque, lower seat height, bigger Frunk, led lights, self cancelling turn signals, bigger windshield, modulating brake lights, ride by wire, modes etc. I'm thinking of adding a DCT/ ABS one to my stable as the Pony has been sold and is supposed to vacate the stable early next week, leaving a hole to be filled.
