My rain gauge from today

although it's probably easier to ride a motorcycle in a drought than it is in 3" of rain in 1 day

Hey! We drive bad enough without putting something slippery on the roads.

So that's what a rain gauge looks like......

ROFL

yea and it's still raining outside. A rare non-riding day for me.

I had one last month too.

We live in a very wet place!

I just replaced the roof on my house, but I probably won't know if it leaks before the warranty expires.

We have localized flooding again! with the 5th wettest June on record at 8" plus (normal is about 4") and a good start on July.

I don't mind getting caught in rain, but I really dislike getting dressed and taking off in it. If it rains all night, is raining when I wake up, and weather bug says 50% chance or better for rain all day, I don't mind take a day off.

Alotta rain in southern Ontario over the past week. Things are greening up again.

We've been having frequent rain in SE Georgia and very moderate summer temperatures, a big change from last year when it didn't rain for over a month and daily temps were 95-100+. The rains are keeping my dirt road hard packed and making riding out easy. Let it rain.

Too bad Lytton, BC can't catch some rain.

It recently broke a temperature record reaching 49.6C (121.3F) and now the town is [url=https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/british-columbia/bc-wildfires-lytton-july-1-2021-1.6087311]engulfed by wildfires.

Ended getting out for a short ride after all. Quit raining by 4 PM. I waited until after dinner and took the quarter horse out for a spin on mostly drying roads with some damp patches, some wet patches, and some wet/gravely patches where rain had drained out on the road from uphill gravel driveways we have here in the country. Still it was a good ride and I stopped and got this pic of the new beast on one of my favorite little set of curves. There is a left and a right set of curves coming into this, and a left and a right set of curves going out the other end. This is the middle section.
