2014 CB1100 Standard Tires - Scatchman_imp - 02-09-2025 Any advice finding matching replacement tires in 2024 for the non-spoke version? 110/80-18 140/70-18 Besides availability, any experience? Kinda leery about Chinese tires. RE: 2014 CB1100 Standard Tires - Cormanus - 02-09-2025 G'day Scatchman, welcome to the forum. Tyres for this bike are as rare as rocking horse scat thanks to the 18" rims. Many have gone one size up to solve the problem. I run Pirelli Angel GTs in 110/80-18 and 160/60-18 as do other members. Pirelli make the Sport demon in the stock size, but it's a bias ply tyre and I've personally been disappointed by the life of the rear. The Dunlop Roadsmart 4 has had a good review from one member I know and others have used the Bridgestone T32, although the front is said to be noisy. Others will join in and you could try search for the multiple threads on this subject or look at http://cb1100forum.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=3118 RE: 2014 CB1100 Standard Tires - peterbaron - 02-09-2025 Scatchman, welcome to the forum! What's your ride?? My DLX has 110 and 160, both Pirelli Angel GT, but the rear one does not last longer than +- 15,000 miles in my case. My STD has 110/Pirelli and 140/Battlax T32..just installed at the end of last season, no report yet RE: 2014 CB1100 Standard Tires - venturer434_imp - 02-10-2025 I ended up purchasing the OEM Size Bridgestone BT54 (Front/Rear) as a set (non spoke 2014 CB1100) when the riding season closed in 2024 (canada).. we also had a rebate from Bridgestone Canada directly that helped my purchase.. RE: 2014 CB1100 Standard Tires - Yata-Garasu_imp - 02-19-2025 I found a Kenda K761 in the right size for the rear. Price was good too. I've got about 4k miles on it so far, still look new. https://a.co/d/6lx3uDV For the front I went with the Pirelli Angel GT. 110-80/18 I think I paid $160 for the Angel GT, and $120 for the Kenda. I was worried I might not like the Kenda, but it's been a good tire. I'd buy it again. There is a Shinko 777 that is cheaper than the Pirelli that has good reviews, but I had a bad experience with Shinko so I went with the Pirelli Angel GT. If Kenda made a 110-80-18 I would have tried it. This K761 is my third Kenda motorcycle tire, and they're all performing well so far ( touch wood!) RE: 2014 CB1100 Standard Tires - the Ferret - 02-20-2025 I tried a set of Shinkos on my NC because some of the members on that forum raved about the mileage they got out of them. I was ok with their handling but I got 25% less mileage than I do out of my go to Michelin Road 5s .... 6,500 miles vs 9,000 miles. I only run Angel GTs on my CB RE: 2014 CB1100 Standard Tires - Tev62 - 02-20-2025 Bridgestone T31's for me. I can confirm they can get a little noisy on the front if you don't wear ear plugs. RE: 2014 CB1100 Standard Tires - peterbaron - 02-20-2025 The T32 is a next-generation of T31. There is also a newer T33, available only in size 120/70ZR18 for the CB1100 RE: 2014 CB1100 Standard Tires - Smaerwoo_imp - 03-08-2025 Have you checked out the Metzeler Roadtec Z8 Interact? RE: 2014 CB1100 Standard Tires - casey66_imp - 04-15-2025 put these on a couple of years ago. I don't have a ton of miles on them but still very pleased. no noise that I can notice. ... |
