Thanks guys! It truly is a beautiful bike and I never tire of looking at it. My wife Pamela, accompanied me that day on her V-strom and I let her ride the Honda most of the way home. She loved it and admitted that it was almost as nice as her V-strom, strong praise from her indeed.

How do you find the CB1100 compares?

The V-strom is a fabulous bike and I came close to buying one instead of the CB. The 650 V twin in the wee is very strong throughout the rev range and gets absolutely amazing fuel mileage, averaging 65mpg when ridden easily. Handling is very good but not as intuitive as the CB and, of course, the CB has a stronger, smoother motor. The Wee's brakes are not as strong as the CB but get the job done. For a modestly priced bike, the Wee's suspension is well sorted and very compliant, providing a comfy ride. Seat comfort is good also but still not as good as the Guzzi I traded for the CB. This V-strom is her second (she had an '07 before the new one) and she is the marque's greatest fan.
