Here are some photos: This bike has the same feel as our CB1100

He installed a little magnet to hold large bearing balls and he invented a spring loaded launcher to encourage drivers not to follow too closely.

Do you use that telescope to do close in detail work? Or maybe check out the ladies in the neighborhood Wink

I have to say, if Honda had a bike like that for sale now, I would have bought one.

Spring loaded launcher for ball bearings? Yikes

I had a 69 CB 350 green and white. Bought it after totaling my 305 scrambler into the passenger door of a 54 Dodge that made a left turn in front of me.

Looks like that one could tell some stories.

Love the red and white

My enjoyment of riding that vintage of Honda CBs—from the 125 to the 450—and the look of them, was what hooked me immediately on the CB1100. That aesthetic with mod cons. What more could you want?

I agree with Cormanus. I am taking my CB On my first longer ride today. A group here are riding in honor of one of our members who died Friday after a long illness. He was an unrepentant Harley guy but beloved nonetheless.

One hint the BB launcher inventor gave me to keep the side covers intact is to put VASELINE on the post and rubber grommet to ease removal and replacement.

That's my one pearl

George

Check out the tall sissy bar.

Silicone grease better than Vaseline in my experience.

So cool. Are you going to renovate it, or...?
I noticed the little bell on the crash bar - I used to see old Harley guys do that years ago. Brought back some old memories from when my dad rode back in the "olden days". Cool
