Did 179 before but went on flashing reserve earlier than 148 that time. RE: Another new fuel record tonight - wildezt_imp - 10-02-2013 wow... I am still am around the 44 mpg mark.. RE: Another new fuel record tonight - LiveToRide_imp - 10-02-2013 I never get more than 44 mpg. RE: Another new fuel record tonight - ThomWill_imp - 10-02-2013 Mileage? Ha! I am still working my head around the EFI, this is my first bike without a petcock and a manual choke. Gee, sure hope it doesn't leak when I disconnect this. RE: Another new fuel record tonight - the Ferret - 10-03-2013 (10-02-2013, 01:43 PM)LiveToRide_imp Wrote: I never get more than 44 mpg. Mine has never been that low. I think my first tank was 48 mpg. I haven't gotten less than 55 mpg in months and my highest was 56.8. RE: Another new fuel record tonight - Randy B - 10-03-2013 I have a feeling that regional gas types are effecting this as much as riding style. The gas in CA is JUCK....CRAP....(#@*$^&$#.....whatever you want to call it. I used to live in Illinois before I moved here and my truck (2004 S10 crew 4x4) would get 17 or 18 in town and easilly 20-22 on the hwy. NOW....13.5 in town and 17-18 on the hwy. JUNK FUEL! RE: Another new fuel record tonight - dBuster_imp - 10-03-2013 I think length of rides makes a difference also! If you commute or ride a minimum of oh say 40+ miles one way without stop and go traffic then stop your mileage will be greater. Me, I am averaging still in the 36-39 mpg range... but my riding is primarily in city traffic stop and go. I usually now will hit flashing at or about 105-110 miles. Then when I fill up that is roughly 2.8 - 2.9 gallons. Wishing I could get that great mileage!!! Or better yet come close to the wife who gets 110-114 mpg with her PCX150! |
