Stories part II - redbirds_imp - 06-23-2015 It's been insufferably hot and dry for weeks here but last night we got some much needed rain and this morning broke cool and overcast, time to ride. Our route took us to the southwest part of the county along roads we have not visited recently. About an hour into our ride the skies darkened and we decided to head home. About 5 miles from home it started raining. Turning onto our dirt, almost muddy road, I discovered that the PR3's are not good off road tires. Pam had no trouble on her V-strom and Trail Wing tires but I slowed a bit and avoided the muddy spots. Did manage to find another old abandoned farmhouse. ![]() ![]()
RE: Stories part II - veech_imp - 06-23-2015 Cool pics. Always great to have a riding partner to go exploring with. Isn't that farmhouse where the Unibomber used to live? Stories part II - Cormanus - 06-23-2015 Veech, just because the windows are blown out doesn't mean a bomber lived there. ![]() As always, redbirds, love the pictures of old structures. RE: Stories part II - Pterodactyl_imp - 06-23-2015 Good photos, interesting story. Having traversed a quite a bit of dirt on PR3s and other road tyres I can only agree with your observations regarding the Trail Wings. Cheers |
