Tom Jones - Hovmod_imp - 05-05-2023
On my first ride this season, I stopped at a car detailing shop for some Owatrol, and ss I walk in through the open garage door, I am greeted by a grinning teenager with a paint gun in his hand. He pushes his mask up over his face, looks at me wearing my Halvarssons and, clearly bypassing any customer relations training he might have, happily lets me know that DUDE, IT’S SHORTS AND HAWAIIAN SHIRTS TIME NOW, NOT THAT TOM JONES STUFF.
I can’t stop thinking about that now.
Tom f-ing Jones? Why? Why? WHY?

My first thoughts were
a) how does a youngster like that know who Tom Jones is?
and
b) does he have brain damage from the paint fumes?
