I just picked up an IP5, so this should work well. Thanks for the tip. RE: iPhone 5 handle bar mount - redReno_imp - 06-03-2013 I've always thought about getting one, never bothered to look though lol. Thanks for posting the link
RE: iPhone 5 handle bar mount - BackroadsRider_imp - 06-03-2013 I have been using the RaM Mount X Grip. I just bought another handle bar mount from Ram Mount so I can swap between my Roadking and my CB1100. Works great and I'm able to snap pictures as I ride. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=71wpwvcdRJE RE: iPhone 5 handle bar mount - redReno_imp - 06-03-2013 The ram mount x grip think looks cool, wonder if the phone would still fit with an otterbox case on. It looks like it should hold just about anything, I wouldn't think a case would make much difference to it. I have this particular mount: [url=http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003CMPPLM/ref=oh_details_o03_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1]http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003CMP...UTF8&psc=1 It includes all 3 pieces that you need, although it isn't quite as spiffy looking as the X-grip. I just wanted to be super-duper sure that my phone wasn't going to go anywhere. When it's in there, it's not coming out easy. Using the x-grip to snap pics is a cool idea... I would probably swap it out just for that, if my g/f hadn't just bought me a go-pro knock-off (which I still need to decide how to mount). RE: iPhone 5 handle bar mount - BackroadsRider_imp - 06-04-2013 I am using the otterbox case with the Ram Mount. It has one heck of a grip. No way to loose that phone without having much bigger troubles than a lost phone. |
