OMG! Nojima exhaust from Samurider - Inline4_imp - 02-24-2014 Quite expensive, but imho this is the best looking exhaust yet for the CB! Closest thing yet to a Kerker. Damn! With this exhaust and a silver tank I would be happy forever! ....and broker than I am now. ![]() http://www.samurider.com/?p=18295/#itemImage RE: OMG! RE: OMG! Nojima exhaust from Samurider - Buffalorider_imp - 02-24-2014 $1400.00!? On a $10K bike? I drop cash on toys all the time but the cost of exhaust systems for these bikes if insane. RE: OMG! Nojima exhaust from Samurider - Aussie_imp - 02-24-2014 $700 on a Staintune was my limit. I reckon I get $1400 worth of pleasure out of it though
RE: OMG! Nojima exhaust from Samurider - CB4ME_imp - 02-24-2014 It is a work of art however:
RE: OMG! Nojima exhaust from Samurider - redbirds_imp - 02-24-2014 Fine looking system and obviously a lot of attention to detail in it's manufacture. Expensive for sure. RE: OMG! Nojima exhaust from Samurider - howlindaug_imp - 02-25-2014 Yea, it's gorgeous, Yea I can't even think of affording it. OK, I'll show my ignorance of the springs with a top 10 list: 10. They hold the pipes together 9. They are tuned to the resonate frequency of each cylinder 8. They cushion the blow when a body part comes in contact with the pipes 7. They are safety connectors in case the pipes come loose. 6. They rattle on the pipe generating a cool sound 5. They are purely cosmetic 4. They are mini heat exchangers 3. As the bike moves through the air mass, the coiled spring rifles the air flow, increasing the coefficient of drag while focusing the resultant vortex aft of the vehicle for a net increase in mpg 2. They hold your map 1. They were left over from another production run RE: OMG! Nojima exhaust from Samurider - davidsargee_imp - 02-25-2014 Love it, Would prefer chrome, though, just my taste. I will have to wait a couple of years and perhaps stumble across a second hand set. |
