Vario Adjustable Foot Pegs - Houtman_imp - 08-02-2014 [url=http://s1360.photobucket.com/user/JohnMBHoutman/media/001_zps3513c9aa.jpg.html] ![]() These are the German made Vario foot pegs. I have these on all 4 of my bikes and all adjusted the same. Earlier I had used different ones bought on ebay but they did not feel strong enough to me . I have the 23 mm arms on them , also 30 mm arms available and many different pegs also in silver and black. (Twisted Trottle) I cut the tab of the side stand so my boot will not touch it. They can be adjusted up/down/rear wards and forwards in 8 positions. Very good for people with big feet. RE: Vario Adjustable Foot Pegs - Short Timer_imp - 08-02-2014 Pretty interesting modification. As one who is always envisioning the pegs being forward a couple inches, these probably wouldn't help without the shift lever being modified somehow(?) Wonder how things would feel in the 6 o'clock position? RE: Vario Adjustable Foot Pegs - Houtman_imp - 08-02-2014 I tried many positions and for ME this is the best way. If the peg is in the 6 o,clock position you have to lift your foot quite a lot for gear changes. If it is too high you got more knee bend. I did lower the gear change pedal a little on the spline. The pegs are very easy to adjust and a quality product but not the cheapest. You can get pegs without the rubber inserts or a more race type peg as well. |
