Shad top box on 14 deluxe - Ridem32_imp - 10-19-2014 Shad makes a rear rack & quick connect for top box I got the SH45 Total cost $250 shipped with back rest ( not yet installed ) RE: Shad top box on 14 deluxe - The Spaceman_imp - 10-20-2014 I've got the smaller Shad top-case (29, IIRC) in red. The mounting plate looks like it was made for the factory rack, and the red color is very close to the '13 paint. Unless you look close, of course. I've always used Givi luggage before, but honestly, for less than half the cost, the Shad stuff is good enough for me. Maybe if I were doing Iron Butt rides regularly or otherwise really beating on the gear I'd feel differently. But for my occasional weekend rides, the Shad case has worked great for over a year and is holding up just fine.
