std seat & deluxe seat - ss2wheels_imp - 12-09-2014
Now that I have a 13 std seat in my hands that I bought from Matt in Fla I can finally see what the difference is besides the obvious. I put it on my 14 Dlx popped right on then I noticed how much lower the passenger section was compared to the Dlx seat and the difference is in the base not the foam, the std measures 2.25 inches from the bottom edge to the welt and the Dlx measures 3.0 inches so although it fits on the bike fine you see more of the strut mount behind the strut but it is no big deal looks fine.I bought the xtra seat so I can have it lowered without destroying the Dlx seat. Many of you may have already known this just thought I would share...
