Improved anti-lead ball - trd_wish888_imp - 12-24-2014 Improved anti-lead ball guide car is not Commercial Road side cover RE: Improved anti-lead ball - Lord Popgun - 12-24-2014 Ok, is it just me or is trd speaking in code? I have those sliders on my CB and they look good. I hope to never find out how good they work though. RE: Improved anti-lead ball - the Ferret - 12-24-2014 Lol he does have a way with words Popgun, but it appears we are all speaking the Honda CB 1100 language. RE: Improved anti-lead ball - Lord Popgun - 12-24-2014 ferret, I don't understand anything he says, but the pics do get the point across!
RE: Improved anti-lead ball - Capo - 12-24-2014 He may be using a google translate app or something, but my sense is that he's saying 'check out these cool new frame sliders!' RE: Improved anti-lead ball - Mike Bee_imp - 12-25-2014 I like the sliders, but I still haven't decided between these and the more expensive chrome engine guards. ~ The Bee RE: Improved anti-lead ball - DGShannon_imp - 12-25-2014 (12-25-2014, 03:02 AM)Mike Bee_imp Wrote: I like the sliders, but I still haven't decided between these and the more expensive chrome engine guards. Given that this bike is so much about channeling an iconic past, my guideline for mods is... "Are they period correct?" Engine guards yes, sliders no. You're right - besides I like the bling of chrome. The sliders don't draw a lot of attention to themselves tho. ~ The Bee RE: Improved anti-lead ball - the_undecider_imp - 12-25-2014 (12-25-2014, 03:58 AM)Mike Bee_imp Wrote:(12-25-2014, 03:33 AM)DGShannon_imp Wrote:(12-25-2014, 03:02 AM)Mike Bee_imp Wrote: I like the sliders, but I still haven't decided between these and the more expensive chrome engine guards. The only engine guards I was considering were the SW Motech black ones. I felt they blended in to the motorcycle's frame better than chrome, but these sliders are sorta sporty without being overstated. I might get the black SW Motech if I could do it over, but these will look cool when I change some other things and tie together the look of the bike. |
