Fortunately at the north shore of Lake Ontario overnight temperatures remain above freezing. The garden hose lives for many more foreseeable days.

I have family on the BC province west coast who share similar taunting images of marinas and the like. The immunity has been built up over the years. Smile

wow .. you are up there !! do the compasses still work that close to magnetic north ..
the aurora borealis must be beautiful that far north.. I am from milw. wis. and I still remember the winters back there.. especially the new fallen snow.. beautiful .. then I got older and my dad made me shovel it..

lol ... heh, heh, ... you are gonna have to ask PB 'bout the Aurora Borealis. He is closer to the north than I am. Smile

He, he, he...closer by about 25-30 km in a straight line, is better if I don't see it

It is difficult and nearly impossible to witness the Aurora Borealis from southern Ontario. There is just way too much light pollution from human civilization.

I searched long and hard for the larger shields and for some reason I couldn't find this thread .. Just ordered a Slipstreamer S-03 Original yesterday but I like this better .. Oh well .. lets see how the SS works

I took several pics with the tank off, so I could view what was under that thing.. I think if I would take the tank off again, I would make myself a tool with 2 little wedges that I would be able to slip into that clip, releasing the 2 latching arms.. boy, thats probably clear as mud.. when I finally got the connector apart, I could see what made it tick .. all except that white clip.. I knew it was there to act as a safety, but for the life of me I couldn't get it back in place.. so I improvised.. I doubled up on a plastic wire tie and slid it in where it would have to be removed before the 2 clips could be released ..

old dogs.. new tricks ... boy, I don't know ..

Chuckk, am working on a project and have two questions:

1* when you had your 2017 tank removed, do you remember if the fuel pump electrical connector was a square type with four(4) wires, something like this ..?

2* do you or anyone else have 2017 service manual ?
Thanks to all who responded.
