The Triumph Speedmaster for 2024 caught my eye this evening. Want to see this beauty in person.

"Stealth" tanks...for me this raises the bar for what a tank can look like:

The only forward control bike I've had was a 2004 Sportster, so not sure about that at my age, but I sure do appreciate the overall look. Except the dorky looking reflecter handing from the license plate...gotta be kidding me! Wonder how quick those get removed from owners.

I agree, pdedse: it’s small and dorky and a long way from anything … except, UK and European number plates are often huge, so maybe when one is fitted, the reflector sits just below it.

Ah yes, of course...I forgot about the large plates; that makes more sense. In one photo, it looks like the stem is simply bolted on. Would add that to my growing reflector bin.

Cool video going over all their "stealth" colors, offered only for 2024.

I really like these.

But I think this orange is my favorite

Mmm, yeah pdedse. The Speedmaster is probably my favourite Triumph model. Those colours are gorgeous. I really like the burgundy.

They've been playing around with some really cool gas tank painting techniques over at Triumph recently.

I have a 2020 Speedmaster scaled down from my Road King Custom, it has forward controls, but the mid controls are available if so desired .

Went to a Veteran and Vintage Motorcycle show over the long Bank Holiday Weekend here in Ireland. Contemplated going on the CB1100EX as it would of fitted right in but decided I should go on my 29 Year old Triumph. This is out in the country a bit in a small enough town and run in the local Christian Brothers Boys School. A good little day out.

These few photos focus on Honda branded bikes but there was all sorts there. I was taken how similar the Honda CL360 was to the earlier Triumph.

Made a little video too. https://youtu.be/opGEsx1Ul4k?si=eJLKz4sbt5g4CJnu

Does the fairing on the CBX1000 look exactly like the one on the CB1100R?
