Nine pages of responses to this thread (and many others) prove that oil brand and viscosity really isn't that critical, as long as we reasonably follow the manufacturer's recommendations and we actually change it, not just talk about it. No one has yet complained of engine failure even though we're all doing our own thing. Use what you like, for whatever reason that might be.
