I've not ridden one, but it sounds like it's going to be a big hit for Honda. Starting on a CB1100 as a first bike - downeck_imp - 07-11-2017 Life is short man- you want a CB1100 then get one. Read all the advice you're given here and take it in. Be cautious and learn to ride the CB little by little. 2013 CB 1100 Starting on a CB1100 as a first bike - PowerDubs_imp - 07-11-2017 (07-11-2017, 03:14 AM)downeck_imp Wrote: Life is short man- you want a CB1100 then get one. RE: Starting on a CB1100 as a first bike - bigsheep_imp - 07-13-2017 All three dealerships in my area are out of rebel 500 and 300. The cb1100 2017's are scarce too, but they have cbr1000's from any year you want! If the rebel was around in its current form when I started I'd have taken a serious look at it. I've only been riding a year and a few months but I felt ready to step up to the cb1100. Mind you I'm a bit of a fanatical rider putting on 25000 km on my first bike in my first season, reading 4 books on motorcycle riding and safety, taking the beginner safety course, and two advanced handling courses. Most guys after a year would have 2-5k on their bikes, I've done that in a week. |
