Ferret, the FJR has an electric screen does it not? You’ve just lowered it 3” at its lowest position? Did you do the same thing to the ST?

Yes I took a stock FJR shield and cut off 3" so when you lower it you get plenty of air with no buffeting and yes did the same thing with a stock ST shield, only cut it down 5" as the ST had 2 more inches of range with the electric shield.. 7" vs 5" on the FJR. Sorta like having a dart Marlin screen on them that you can raise if you need to lol.

14 for 14 for nearly 1,000 mi in July so far.

Back on the 9 mg of Budesonide for my gut, so that has calmed down. The Voltarin anti-inflammatory gel is helping a ton with the arthritis in my throttle hand and the Visco injections I had in the knees has helped a ton too.

Hard to believe back at the beginning of May I couldn't walk without a walker, went to crutches after the first series of injections and a cane after second series of injections, and now after 3 injections my knees feel pretty good. I just came in from a half mile walk with my wife.

The miracles of modern medicines. Hallelujah!

Will be going for my daily ride in a couple of hours.

Life is good again.

That’s really great news, Ferret.

You could change the title of the thread now to “Ferret’s speeding up”. Big Grin

Awesome, ferret!

@Nortoon I thought you'd enjoy this signature line from a guy over on 124spider.org:

I've always said, "If, one day, I can no longer ride a motorcycle, I'll buy a convertible." Life is too short. Don't wait to get your convertible.
