Bazbro, if you think RLETs cause drag, you haven’t got the point at all. See [url=http://cb1100forum.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=5505]this thread.

There is a Force in CB1100 riding which, like other Forces, has a Light Side and a Dark Side. Talk of ‘pencil erasers’ will see you end on the dark side. No good will come of that.

So far, the RLETs have not caused wind drag on my CB.

I actually remember the time in the '70s when the Japanese started covering the ballends. They dipped them in a clear plastic and I never liked it 'cos the plastic turned yellow and it looked horrible.

I shall be very careful what I say about those wonderful RLETS in future... Wink

So, if they are installed on both levers how would you know? I'm no physis but, I would think, according to Newtonian physics, equal drag would cancel any perceptible pull in either direction, right? Has anyone tried riding with only one installed? That would be a true test of wind drag! Shoot, we could all be losing hard gained HP with these dang things attached!

For you naysayers, Ferret pictures are accurate!
Here is another case. This picture is a young Marty Smith. I seen him racing, I believe, in the 125cc class at Unadilla Motocross, NY. During the 1970s.
