I thought I should bond in frustration with my fellow CB'ers by installing them myself on my new bike. I'm not sure what the hoopla was all about. If I hadn't dropped it once, I think I'd have been under :30 Nicely done MTC and another angel gets her wings!
RE: Rubber Lever End Thingies - Lord Popgun - 07-29-2017 A Padawan no longer are you! One of us you are now. AND, Ferret will show you the secret handshake at the next rally. RE: Rubber Lever End Thingies - Cormanus - 07-30-2017 What does this mean, popgun? MTC has previously graduated. Or, because a dealer used he did, graduate he did not? RE: Rubber Lever End Thingies - Lord Popgun - 07-30-2017 Ummmm, confused was I by the Ferrets post. Good MTC is, I would say. A Padawan he is not for some time. RE: Rubber Lever End Thingies - Nortoon_imp - 07-31-2017 After many frustrating tries, I noticed the back of the lever is flat, as is part of the collar on the RLET. So I tried pushing the RLET on from the back of the ball to the front with two flat spots mated. BINGO! Slid the other one on first try. I always thought of angles as obtuse/acute/right...
RE: Rubber Lever End Thingies - the Ferret - 07-31-2017 Lol Engish funny language. Place one letter wrong and change the entire meaning, Anyhow, when I was growing up angels were always female for some reason, so at 67 I'm just going to leave them that way. I think heavenly males were wingless and called cherubs or something. I could be wrong.
