If something like that white one with the panniers comes to the States, I'm getting one. I really like the Africa Twin, but I already have a proper dirt bike which is much lighter. I've been looking seriously at the Tracer 9. I can hold off for a couple of years if there's hope for a new Honda sport tourer...

I miss my V strom dearly, but I just can't ride those tall, top heavy bikes anymore.

I think that the NT1100 will be just perfect for GO

Thanks for the endorsement [url=http://cb1100forum.com/forum/member.php?action=profile&uid=3454]PB. Fortunately my current Honda is quite satisfying. If the NT1100 was a few years earlier, maybe I would have considered it. Nevertheless, it is still interesting watching Honda toy with the idea.

I had a first release 1000cc 2016 Africa Twin and while it looked good and had many great attributes it was a bit dull and anaemic, I got rid of it after 18 months and took a bath on the trade-in, ouch! With the new 1100 engine and a better road bias of this NT1100 I could definitely see this as a replacement for my current bike though, especially with the DCT which they seem to of perfected now. I think it will be a lot more expensive than a Yamaha 900 though, by a good bit.

By 2018 Honda ironed out many complaints in the Africa Twin. In 2020 they added even more fun and anguish, but at least those new issues have nothing to do with the engine/drivetrain, frame and suspension. Riders appear to be buying up the 2020s in droves, but yeah, it ain't cheap.

After a lot of speculation, the new 1100 parallel twin powered sports touring bike finally gets its name and, probably, final shape. Gentlemen, meet Honda NT1100.

Why is there so much space above the rear tire?

If the 2022 Honda NT1100 SS goes real and has shaft final drive, I will have a problem. Dodgy
