Interesting concept to think that the ECU is monitoring how often it needs to engage the icv and maybe thinks the valve is faulty in some manner because of that and is defaulting to a baseline high rpm.

This is the thread in which DDUMZI of South Korea describes his problem with the high idle in his 2014 and his efforts to fix it, including replacing the IACV and finally installing a new ECU, which fixed it. Strange that he had a different year bike and ECU than my 2013 and yet, that ended up being the solution. It does make things more confusing.

It's been a long time~ ^^

It's been a year since I replaced the ECU, but the bike is still in good condition. IACV inspection is a good method for RPM problem, but I think it would be faster to solve it with ECU. ^^
