Note that I record the data in metric units, but for benchmark with this thread I added a dongle with US units...
I cannot get more than 45 mpg, although I never exceed 60 or 65 mph, 5000 rpm max on intermediate gears, cruising around 3000 rpm most often. But it's OK, refill at about 200 km (125 miles) match my needs

My experience, at the 900 mile mark, has been similar to the last post; about 42-46 mpg. Low fuel warning starts flashing at about 150 miles (240 km).

Who knows but I do find it extremely interesting we have some that get upper 50's almost 60 mpg then we have some just above 40 mpg... Something must be the cause.

I get low to mid 40's on my commute which is split about 25% stop and go, 25% below 70 mph, and 50% at about 85mph.
I've taken a couple 2 up trips to the mountains on some windy canyons where I'm rarely going above 50 and both trips were just over 59mpg.
I'm guessing that 85mph riding is what's killing my commute mileage, not so much the stop and go. Around town I've yet to do a full tank but it seems to be closer to 50.

Maybe folks don't necessarily want to share such information, but I'd imaging that one big factor when it comes to gas mileage on our bikes would be the size and weight of the rider. A big/tall guy is going to create more drag than a short/small rider and their gas mileage is going to suffer some because of it.

+ 1 and I tell you something else that is hard to account for is wind. I got 51 and 49 on my last tanks on my 750 riding 75 mph in the parkways and interstates. I could not figure it out until I thought about the wind. There was none. Put me in a head wind and it will drop 5 mpg right off the bat.
Maybe more, I dont know. But yet this is another factor.
