RE: Delkevic exhaust, experience? - uscgmac_imp - 09-21-2016 I have the yoshi rs3 and sounds great without baffling and no other mods. No popping at all. Sent from my SM-G530T using Tapatalk Delkevik came out after I bought mine and I would have considered it with its low price point. I found the 8" delkevik on amazon but hesitated on buying it because I had never heard of the brand and none of my friends had experience with it but now I think I'm gonna order and give it a shot. The first mod on my bike! RE: Delkevic exhaust, experience? - GaryMNM_imp - 05-13-2017 (04-06-2016, 10:40 AM)MMC_imp Wrote: Sounds good. I got mine today but they sent me the wrong link pipe! Ugh.... Sent from me RE: Delkevic exhaust, experience? - GaryMNM_imp - 05-18-2017 Just received my Delkevic 14" Carbon Fiber set up yesterday. As mentioned earlier, it has a built in stop for the center stand. Have not tried it w/o baffle but so far I'm appreciating the tone over the stock. No noticeable popping on decal on my initial test rides, no stumbling. Their website claims no re-flashing required. The General Manager and I exchanged a few emails that morning and I placed an order. Ordered Monday, processed and shipped Monday, received Wednesday. Just under $285.00 delivered. There are other less expensive models, shapes ovals with a spout, etc but I liked the somewhat straight pipe design. I never personally cared much for the huge flared trumpet shape of the stock pipe. Now to see how it holds up... RE: Delkevic exhaust, experience? - ryanschillinger_imp - 08-01-2017 Great value. No complaints. RE: Delkevic exhaust, experience? - Bheezy27403_imp - 09-27-2017 Looking at the 8". Do you need a link pipe with this slip on or just the muff itself? I didn't see a CB specific one. Which one did you guys get? Maybe a link? RE: Delkevic exhaust, experience? - GaryMNM_imp - 09-27-2017 I went to Delkevic Direct located in Colorado. Same price at that time as the dealers and free shipping. The site has you select the bike, make, model, year. Here's a Delkevic Link (I would confirm the bike selection just to be sure): [url=http://www.delkevic.us/index.php?route=product/category&path=120125_120885_121612_121644&category_string=Silencer%20Kits%20%26gt%3B%20Honda%20%26gt%3B%202014%20%3E%20CB1100A%20(2013-2014)]For Honda CB1100 2013-2014 I got the DL-10 14" for the CB included the link pipe with tab for the center stand stop. It shows what's included based on your selected model. Mine was in stock shipped the same day from CO and received in 2 days in NM. No complaints, timely processing. I'd emailed the general manager (female, don't recall her name) my questions and she responded promptly to each email. RE: Delkevic exhaust, experience? - Bheezy27403_imp - 09-27-2017 Thank you for your response and info sir! RE: Delkevic exhaust, experience? - Bheezy27403_imp - 10-09-2017 Did you guys use high temp sealant when installing? |
