Another very helpful thread. I'd assumed batteries would be in the same camp as tyres and replacement parts. Half you spent less for an AGM than I just did on a lead acid one for my K6. It's great!

"Firepower" (Vietnam) 12V 11.2A
Occasional maintenance during winter - btender and warm storage

Almost 5y - not too shabby

Today I bought this Unibat made in Italy Ready Battery CTZ14S-FA, Yuasa YTZ14S equivalent, 11,2A, CCA 230A, positive SX, 150x87x110mm, AGM Battery Ready to use Factory Sealed Without Maintenance.
Cost €53.14 shipped via BRT courier

So, let's try a "Chrome Battery" Amazon Recommended at $45 shipped.

If I get at least two years out of it, I'm money ahead over my Yuasa average lifetime.

Sounds like a fair plan Gone.

I have been using off-brand LiFePO4 that has a built-in LED charge-level indicator for $100 Cdn and it has been going very strong so far. If I can get at least three years, I'd be quite happy.
