RE: Forum T-Shirts - emptysea - 04-09-2015 well....to be clear on my humor, I was suggesting "RLETs Ride!" as a punny version of "Let's Ride!" RE: Forum T-Shirts - rboe - 04-09-2015 The beauty of Zazzle is that you can have 100 different versions (or more). Start with a basic theme (to RLET or Not), forum name or not, Rally info or not. Buy it, then you have a unique t-shirt. Which is cool as then we don't have a uniform. You can wear your shirt to meet-ups and we can marvel at what you did (or tease you over coffee - my favorite method ).Once a design is out there, or at least the graphics, text can be added or removed, color of shirt choosen, the world is your oyster! RE: Forum T-Shirts - Chapomis_imp - 04-09-2015 I agree that Zazzle is a plus in that way, but they offered basically only White, Black or Blue. I wasn't considering it to be a uniform. For me it was meant to be memorabilia. I have 30 year old Ts that I may only wear once a year and I have never bumped into anyone wearing the same one....would be cool if I did ! It would be fun if everyone went to Zazzle and created their own design as well, I might just do that. RE: Forum T-Shirts - rboe - 04-09-2015 It needs polishing, but something like this. I don't know how to make the background of the bike picture transparent so this only looks good on a white T for now. RE: Forum T-Shirts - Papa Weeley_imp - 04-09-2015 ^ I like it! RE: Forum T-Shirts - ClassicVW_imp - 04-09-2015 ^^^ Too much "CB1100" with the black writing and the forum banner. I'm not sure what to put on the front, but on the back, a large photo of the bike with a same width red forum banner right under the bike would be nicely visual and get the message across without being too busy. And drop the "RLET" completely. RE: Forum T-Shirts - emptysea - 04-09-2015 I think that some of the designs here are to represent the forum or the bike itself, whereas it seems like Chapomis is trying to come up with a shirt for the NC Rally and that does mean there's a bit of a time consideration to be made. I think he's darn close to having a great shirt designed for this purpose. I don't care if "RLETs" are mentioned, but I do like the idea of giving the Rally a nickname and "RLETs Ride!" seemed fitting to me. Another catchy phrase would be more than acceptable to me. I'm buying one of these despite the fact that I'm not going to be at the rally. Great work, Chap. RE: Forum T-Shirts - Chapomis_imp - 04-09-2015 Theres " Got RLETS ?" or "Its after midnight, do you know where your RLET's are ?" or "My bike has fallen and RLET's helped me up"....nah I go with MTC and give the event a nickname, CB1100 Forum RLET's Ride, Smoky Mountains NC, May 28 - 31, 2015 (all on back) CB1100 small on left front. I will post pictures later for additional feedback. This is just an event t-shirt. If the forum wants to create an Official Forum T, that can be done another time. RE: Forum T-Shirts - Chapomis_imp - 04-09-2015 Here is my, based on input, "NC May Event" t-shirt (not to be confused with an "Offical CB1100 Forum" t-shirt). You can order this shirt in any color you like for no extra charge, I put it on Blue to be "Neutral". Please feel free to e-mail me with any questions, I am semi-retired and have time to do this for the event. This forum is great and as I don't have much technical advice to offer to the forum, I can offer this. The design has yet to be set in stone, just the .2 version. RE: Forum T-Shirts - emptysea - 04-09-2015 Love the .2 version! Consider, though, putting "RLETs Ride" in quotes and with a ! at the end. I think it would reinforce the "Let's Ride!" expression off which it is played. Either way is cool though. |
