Ouch!
When I crashed my 1st CB1100 with only 200 miles on it, it was not even close to the damages on your CB. My insurance company totaled it. [url=http://cb1100forum.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=10615&page=3]http://cb1100forum.com/forum/showthread....615&page=3

I think I'd be happy that I couldn't remember what happened

well, my fine fellows ... this case is taking some very strange twists and turns ... and because this forum is viewable by the general public, i had best no longer discuss it here. Undecided

however, i do promise to reveal its outcome after any legal conclusions. Thumbs Up

sorry to leave you hanging for a bit ...

ZB’s CB is going to cost a fortune to repair.

i thought for sure mine would be totaled considering the age and mileage. plus that gauge cluster is $1000 alone. Well, my insurance company will be biting that bullet! (Progressive.)

Ouch! It’s so good that you’re okay, ZB.

to be honest, this feels more like a sports injury ... e.g., football or rollerblading or light mountain biking.

the helmet only suffered light scratches with foam/shell in tact, my new gloves were pristine, my jeans only had light grass stains.

even the motorcycle had what one might call soft tissue damage --
levers/pedals/fenders/frame/engine in tact

so i get the feeling i landed at relatively low speed.
