The "plates" (Black Triangles with 3 Holes) are in the photo. They must be used behind the grab rails on the DLX/EX to attach the rack.
However, the angle of the rack is really created by the angle of the grab rails. Take a look at the two bikes on the top of this forum's banner. The 2013 in the foreground has a much greater angle on the grab rails than the those of the white 2014 DLX/EX in the background. Since the racks attach via bolts that pass thru the grab rails, the angle of the rails dictate the angle of the rack. That's why there are two different racks, with two different angles.
