I do keep a fire extinguisher in my garage! (but, I only used one at home once, for a carb issue) Be interesting to know the voltage range. RE: Where to tap speed sensor signal? - egleaves_imp - 07-09-2018 Not yet. I spent too much time doing other things this weekend. Now I'm interested in hearing the results of PowerDubs stab at this wire before I mess with mine. RE: Where to tap speed sensor signal? - PowerDubs_imp - 07-09-2018 Local hardware store didn't have any posi-tap or comparable. Placed an order from Amazon- experimentation will have to wait a couple days. Sorry. Here is what I am trying to do- RE: Where to tap speed sensor signal? - egleaves_imp - 07-09-2018 (07-09-2018, 09:13 AM)SportsterDoc_imp Wrote:(07-09-2018, 02:57 AM)egleaves_imp Wrote: Not yet. So, you are admitting that PowerDubs is braver?! Many people are braver than me when it comes to electrical work. I'm much better at being a plumber.

I hate plumbing...dealing with leaks...much rather keep the smoke inside the insulation! RE: Where to tap speed sensor signal? - PowerDubs_imp - 07-09-2018 I'm no electrician. I'm much more mechanical in nature. I have zero fear of mechanical things, and zero mechanical sympathy. Makes for interesting hobbies when I have a lift in my garage. 12 cylinders are fun. I'm just not rich enough for a Veyron. Where to tap speed sensor signal? - PowerDubs_imp - 07-14-2018 Tapped into the white on the rear speed sensor (changes to green/pink under side cover.) Put my meter on it, dcv setting, other lead grounded to a screw. Started bike on center stand and put it in first. No reading. Thoughts? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk RE: Where to tap speed sensor signal? - peterbaron - 07-14-2018 My schematic, after 2013, NO ABS ASSUME there is NO carbon wire sealed to connector's end.![]() ![]() .What is the DC voltage reading to OEM connector of RWSS = 2 pin connector - blue and white- back-probed, rear wheel spinning in a gear, while speedo showing speed...voltage will vary while speed changes, please What are you talking about other lead grounded to a screw..what SCREW????????? Do you have any electrical knowledge???
