I checked cycletrader, some dealers still have new ST1300's; think they'd look pretty good with a Hannigan hanging off the side.

ferret whenever we go riding together (which will happen at some point lol) you can try mine. The front brake is a standout, but the order of business is brush 'n' bury to load the somewhat soft-ish front suspension before nailing it. The engine is a love-it-or-leave it proposition. Below 5000 rpm it is a small tractor and above 5000 rpm it is a wailing Messerschmidt. Not as comfy as an ST1300 but much less of a low-speed handful and doesn't have that feeling of being a speeding locomotive rounding the bend.

Judging the suitability of two up riding can bite you. The Moto Guzzi Stelvio is rated, by pillions, as being an excellent two up machine. Who knew?! Other bikes have not faired so well and at first blush would seem to be great.
Gotta get your pillion out there to test it.
The Africa Twin group on Facebook is making it very hard for me to ignore it. Dang!!
