to accelerate faster all you need to do is downshift. it is that simple.

For hard street battles I used to go -1 on the front and +3 on the rear. Might be too much on a long ride though. I voted both.
Hard core track tricks:
1. 520 chain conversion -1 & +3
2. remove wheel seals
3. remove chain slider
