RE: Why I'm switching BACK to Honda oil - 68lupe_imp - 12-12-2015 That sounds good to to me i'll go back to honda 10w30.I change it often anyway. Thanks RE: Why I'm switching BACK to Honda oil - spacetiger_imp - 12-12-2015 (12-11-2015, 10:56 PM)68lupe_imp Wrote: Jerry - If you have done all of the bolts (heads, valve covers, etc) then you can probably cross them off the list. Had that once as a source of oil leak. Jerry RE: Why I'm switching BACK to Honda oil - flynrider - 12-12-2015 I had the weep show up at around 9K miles. Left side, just below the rear cam end. Same oil it's always used. I was planning on re-torquing the cam cover bolts, but the weep magically disappeared about 500 miles later. I'm at 13.5K miles now and it hasn't returned. I'm from the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" school, so I'll just keep an eye on it. RE: Why I'm switching BACK to Honda oil - 68lupe_imp - 12-12-2015 Good advice Flynrider...It's so intermittent I may just wait a while to see if it clears on it's own. |
