Out of almost 300 bikes, especially in this area, you'd think at least one would have shown. Agreed. I always assumed in regards to these type of organized gatherings in the greater L.A. area that there would be an endless bounty of classic vehicles given the population density and generally agreeable climate for riding/driving year round. Maybe that assumption is wrong or out-of-date. RE: CB1100 first cousin - Whoops - 05-27-2022 (04-23-2014, 04:22 AM)Scoobynut_imp Wrote: Here's a mind-bender for you CBX enthusiasts. This guy I know in N. Dakota has 13 of them. Here's a photo of a row of 10 of his, two others were on display at the local Honda dealer when I took this and he keeps one separate as a rider. The ones toward the wall are the later touring models. Most of them have under 100 miles on them. *Drool* RE: CB1100 first cousin - peterbaron - 05-27-2022 ^^ ![]() ![]() RE: CB1100 first cousin - 17-CB-002 - 05-27-2022 (05-26-2022, 01:44 AM)GoldOxide_imp Wrote: [url=http://cb1100forum.com/forum/member.php?action=profile&uid=3454]PB - You gettin' hot with the CBX itch again? Hey "GO", I had two (2) of them and sold them both in 2018. One was a '79 and the other is an '82. It was getting too heavy (top heavy) to ride, so after getting the CB1100 I sold them both and was also getting ready to downsize the house. When I had them, I spent hours admiring the engine. Just too bad you did not had the chance to ride it before I sold them.

The Goldwing is what you rode out on. RE: CB1100 first cousin - Gone in 60 - 05-27-2022 (05-27-2022, 02:43 AM)Nachodaddy_imp Wrote: The CBX got you into the showroom. A GT got you into the Ford showroom, so you'd buy a Taurus. A Viper got you into a Dodge showroom to buy a Caravan. |
