You were right - as much as one can ever be, m/sc. Exchanged all brake fluids last night, despite the fact that they didn't have any water contents, nor any visible bubbles or air (well, i know ...). I have been generous in terms of how many gallons of fluid I flushed through the system (first old fluid from last year, as a cleaning agent (didn't cost anything), next fresh fluid. Up to the point where my right hand (pumping) couldn't take it no more. Test ride this morning. And no light coming on for 50+ miles of riding. Next checked the system on a dry dirt road. Proper action at the slightest stall of the wheels. Honestly, I would have never made that connection, and I doubt any 3 out of 5 mechanics at Honda would have made it either. I am saying this out of experience. What the "app" doesn't show doesn't exist. Anyway ::::::: THANK YOU m/sc, big hugs !!!! RE: Wheel sensors - the Ferret - 07-23-2023 good deal Gecko, glad your issue is resolved RE: Wheel sensors - The Gecko_imp - 07-24-2023 I have to admit, I am still a little bewildered ... about this success. Interesting is m_in_sc 's idea that there are soft errors which the ABS module detects internally but doesn't show as a code when following the procedure using the service connector. What sense this could make (for the manufacturer ... when thinking up a design and the Honda service people in the field ...). Puzzling. But hope dies last and sometimes it succeeds.
RE: Wheel sensors - GoldOxide_imp - 07-24-2023 Sounds positive The Gecko. Hopefully it is sustainable.
