Hang in there bud, good pain meds get you thru this kind of stuff

My apologies, I certainly wasn't trying to confuse anyone by having multiple threads about subject.

I'll go back to being quiet now.

Up at midnight posting. Huh

Best get some rest. Any hospital that I have been in wakes everyone at dawn to medicate them.

I’ve always found it curious that healers, who tell us constantly about the healing powers of sleep, show little institutional regard for it.

It has been 9 days since my surgery, I obviously don't recover like did in my '20s but I'm feeling pretty good about my chances of riding long distance again.

The bad thing is I'm still housebound and can still only get out of bed for short durations so I spend a lot of time online - that means shopping for parts!!!

Has it really been 9 days already? Wow. Optimism helps the healing..I think you are going to be able to ride long distances too.

RE: Big Day Tomorrow - Banned_imp - 11-24-2017

My goal now is to make it to the 2018 CB1100 Rally, wherever that may be.

Hi W/R. New Brunswick to Vancouver, eh? That's a nice ride. ;-)

Have a crack at making ALL the US rallies in 2018, W/R.

Good to hear from you. Hope your recovery is proceeding well.

W/R!
New member here, poking around and saw this thread.
L1 fusion over 10 years ago. Pain prior to surgery was .., severe. The fusion made all the difference in my life. I won't lie, the pain after was no picnic. Forget opiates. You are probably dealing with nerve pain and they will do nothing but kill you. I hope I am not out of line here, but I have been there.
MOST important is do not skimp on the PT!
Stay positive. Every day will be an improvement.

Brother, you WILL be at the Rally.
See you there!
