Hey Pdedse, how are you liking the Torc helmet so far?
Got an update for us?

Been travelling a bit--not on bike, so I've only done 4 short rides of 15-30 minutes. But before each ride I compressed the foam forehead area where it felt tightest and it has noticeably felt more comfortable to the point that I know I can keep (and use) it.

It does let in lots of wind from the bottom, so I'll have to always use ear plugs. With ear plugs, it's quite nice. It doesn't let any air in along the edges of the face shield, so no stream of air into the eyes as I move head side to side...my Shoei does let in an air stream that is a little bothersome. Face shield stays in place at whatever open position I leave it at, and is easy move up / down. Feels less solid overall than the Shoei, but also it is lighter.

The shield area is huge. With the chin bar so thin, it feels like you're wearing a 3/4 helmet.

A better test will be when I can get out for an all day outing. For multi-day trips, I'm sure I'll keep using the Shoei.

Thanks for the update! Still thinking about it…
Just spent my discretionary bike money on an upgraded windscreen for the RE650. I sold the small one the bike came with and am waiting for the new one to arrive.
