Yes, this has been an industry debate for many years now. There is always some cost on the environment during the birth, life and death of EV and non-EV vehicle offerings.

A similar issue exists, sadly, for the manufacture and death of solar panels. It is an environmental nightmare on the lifespan endpoints.

The non-environment issues remain: i) Continue to pay for volatile and the increasing cost of fossil fuel, or ii) Manage your EV range between the point of origination and destination during any season of the year?
